At a watering hole on the plains of Pleistocene India, the largest elephant and land mammal of all time Palaeoloxodon namadicus, weighing up to 22 tons and standing over 17 feet tall, quenches his thirst as all the other residents of the watering hole look up in fright and wonder at the thirsty behemoth.
