Good morning, everybody!This time I show you my vision of extraterrestrial co-evolution and you can see, that these one just looks like a big fat hummingbird! BTW it was inspired by the hummies, just to show you an example for konvergent evolution.
Think I really like this one, definately more than the last pic! Next time I'll show you an extraterrestrial example for "symbiosis"! So, keep on watching and please comment!

I take it you have heard of Xanthopan morgani praedicta, the Predicted Moth?
There is shades of a leafy sea dragon in this picture - was it intended to be an aquatic species? The body form would work very well in water.

oh, extremely good question! I couldnt decide how this creature should look, cause it floats through an atmosphere, which is much thicker than on earth,so gravity wouldnt be a problem. After a long time of hesitating, I gave it the look of a water creature, like sea horse!

well, this creature "floats" in a atmosphere, which is much sicker than on earth, so its definately not flying like a hummingbird! But, good question^^
