Hey guys,I drew something like this some time ago, but wanted to improve my skills with MS PAIN', so I made some new incredible (and maybe impossible) planets!
The solar system has a red dwarf star as centre and six planets circulating around it. The proportions are not realistic!
AIJYN - a red dwarf star, small but long-living, has something like "sun-dust" around its corona, the origin of this dust is not clear
ANAISH - a stone-type planet, bigger than Mercury, smaller than Mars, full of minerals and other soil resources. Let's exhaust it!
FJEY - obviously the habital planet of this solar system. Fjeys turquoise oceans and wide swamps are rich of organic, especially photosynthetic organisms. Plants have already conquered land, but there are no animals yet (not to mention a civilisation).
TJYLLO - OK, I admit this planet is maybe not possible, but i like the idea of a miniature gas-planet. Tjyllo is something like an astronomic accident and shrinked via ultra-gravity planet core . . . OMG reality vs. imagination !!!
SHAIHOI - a big water world, and i like the blue patterns. The difference in water colour is based on chemosynthetic bacteria living in shallow region. So the pale blue areas are the deep water regions of the planet. Well, life has developed good on this planet (think i could imagine some creatures later)
JEUBASHAR - this gigantic gas planet (yeah I know, it looks like rock or ground but its gas) has an extreme magnetic shield. The magnetic forces drag on the gas clouds and . . . ain't this impossible too?!
YSHK - ice and rock planet, nothing special, but needed an end to the system XD

Mick, don't worry, gas dwarfs have been proven factual recently. So Tjyllo is entirely plausible

Hmm. Fjey and Shaihoh show potential. I could definitely see a thriving coral-like ecosystem on there (depending how much land there is underwater). So many possibilities for the ocean; as for Fjey, since there aren't any animals yet (if there ever will be) what about plants becoming the dominant species? Some plants can already move on their own to catch prey, like Venus Flytraps, so given enough time they might develop the ability to uproot themselves and migrate to new places where the soil is richer and there's more resources if one area becomes too dry. Some might even be able to harness methane as a sort of weapon, creating an explosive of some kind to defend themselves from predators (whatever those might be).

Well the possibilities are infinite, there are so many ways that lifeforms can transform that its impossible to say what will happen. I really like your idea of sapient plants, but i am not sure if evolution could turn them into a sapient species, cause their way of gaining energy even by adding flesh via catching is not enough to form brains. Maybe this form of intelligence would group-based by linking simple nerves upto a gigantic superplant....
