Here's my piece featured in The Line It Is Drawn 167: Thanksgiving Leftovers!
Since I'm a huge fan of Death Note , I chose a suggestion from a reader who wanted to see "Light vs. L in Justice League of America 1." I took this opportunity to make a dream team comprised of lead characters from some of my favorite shonen anime, plus Dragonball Z and One Piece. I couldn't get into those two series, but I know they're popular for others to identify with.

Nice, but I would rather have Koji Kabuto (Mazinger Z) rather than Shinji as the team Mecha pilot. Also How about a female member, like Sailor Moon? She's as iconic as Goku.

I haven't yet watched Mazinger Z. I briefly considered Sailor Moon, but I decided she would be a better fit as the leader of a Shojo League to be drawn perhaps at a later time.

Great looking piece Mic!
I was super captivated by the Death Note premise, and watched quite a bit of the anime (probably the first season?) before my attention was snatched away by a passing shiny object.
I'll have to grab some of the Manga one of these days.
Love the nod to the Shinigami connection between Ryuk and Ichigo.

haha Shiny objects do tend to detract. I highly recommend finishing up the finite series. So good, compelling, and suspenseful! I have yet to sample the manga for myself due to brokeness.
