Great catch on this one. Not sure if you ever checked out fredmiranda.com. DA is much better for posting and such but Fred has made some great PS plug ins. One that I've found really useful is the noise reducer. It works wonders when using a high ISO setting on a d70.

I do have a question for you, do you think I am better off getting the SB800 speedlight, or the sb-29 macro flash for what I do?

Not sure on this one. I only have experience with the SB-50 for my nikon n80 film camera. I am currently flashless. From what I've read ring flashes can leave weird light patterns but the sb-29 is a modified ringflash in attempts to correct that. I've tought myself most of what I know but rely heavily on "John Shaw's Nature Photography" for advise. He is an excellent photographer and writer. I tried out a bunch of books and his is the best by far. He also has a macro specific book which I haven't checked out but is probably great. I would check there for that question.

Well I've done a lot of research about it and it seems that the ring flash sb-29 is something I might want to work with even thought it is not an iTTL flash. More light is really what I need, and I am sure with Nikon I won;t be desapointed .
I am sure we'll notice a difference when I get it.
BTW great work you do.
