This was a classic moment for me. Like, when I played this game as a kid, I thought Miracle Matter was the final boss because I couldn't get all the shards. Then I learned that YouTube was a thing and I decided to revisit this game... and suddenly, "WAIT A SECOND, there was another BOSS?!" And I realized, "So, THAT'S where the '02 Battle' music in Smash Bros. came from!"

I never had a n64 as a kid, was alway a playstation kid. Wasn't till several years ago that i decide to buy a n64 and kirby 64 before realizing this is where 02 is from since i did saw some glimpse of him in the internet.

But for real tho, Zero is tragic when you think about it. A being manifested from the hate and cruelty of the universe. One whose own twisted existence forbids it from feeling happiness. And on top of that, the moment where it even comes close to feeling just a bit of love, it will completely die. The dark matter creatures keep seeking out Kirby so they can kill themselves and hopefully receive a better life.

And Nintendo says this series is for young kids. Got to love it whenever anyone wants to read up just a tiny bit of lore of these characters and ends up getting drag 10 pages deep with the whole lore.
