Winner of the last poll: 1) Climb up to the Octoling's shoulder

Inky has thought a bit of what he should do, whether he should climb up as high as possible on the Octoling or hide in her equipment. After some thinking, Inky thinks the best option might be to stay on the Octoling and maybe get to her shoulder, seeing if maybe he can see what the girl is going to do. Its a massive risk for Inky, as he knows full well that he is risking of getting spotted by the giantess as he tries to climb to her shoulder, but at the same time, it might be riskier to try to hide in the equipment and possibly make contact with more shrinking ink. As Inky made up his mind of where to go, he hears the Octoling high above making a small noise, almost a sigh of relieve. He looks and sees why as the Octoling is heading to a massive structure with a rusty looking door. The closer the Octoling got to the door, the door began to open, loud, eerie metallic noise fills the area as the door slowly opens to a dark hallway that slowly turns the light on. Inky realizes that this must be the base the Octoling has been trying to get to for a long time, so he needs to hurry to climb the giantess's shoulder as fast as possible or else someone inside might spot him before he knows it. Thankfully for Inky, now that he isn't near the Octoling's foot, he can have an easier time climbing her without having to deal with the harsh thunderous steps or roller coaster swings he had to endure the entire time he was climbing her. That still doesn't change the fact that climbing the giantess isn't going to be easy as he still has quite the way to go before reaching her shoulder. As Inky climbs higher up as he can, now starting to climb the Octoling's legs and thigh, the Ocotling enters the structure, the doors closing behind her and sealing the two kids inside.

The Octoling continues to walk through the hallway, more lights lighting up the area, which blinds both Inky and the Octoling a bit as Inky can see far in the distant is another door. Inky was nearing midway up the girls shorts and passing her belt just as the Octoling stops in front of the door, which Inky can see a small speaker next to the door. The Octoling presses a button on the speaker, her speaking to someone at the other side to open the door. Inky can hear the speaker as whoever is on the other side can be heard trying to open the door, though there seems to be some technical difficulty as the system seems to be acting slow. The Octoling can be heard complaining about this under her breath as she taps her foot and waits for the door to finally open. This was a good thing for Inky as it gave him more time to climb higher up the giantess as she isn't moving, which makes it easier for him to climb. His biggest, pun not intended, worry was when he sees that he is about to reach the top of her shorts, and see that he will have to climb up her bare stomach before reaching her top shirt and armor. he worries if the Octoling will feel him spraying ink on to her body before he can make it to the shirt and armor. Still Inky can't afford to wait and worry as he knows he doesn't have that much time before the giantess will move again. As quickly as he can, he fires the ink gun and sees the ink sticking to the Octoling's stomach far better than her clothes, making things a tad bit easier for Inky as he hesitantly swims upward and popping out to spray more ink and repeat.

A minute has past, Inky making a lot of progress on climbing the Octoling without her seeming to notice him so far. Seems the miniscule size Inky is stuck in is helping him in that he is too small for the Octoling to feel him at the moment. However, that might change in a bit as Inky got nervous as the Octoling made a noise that escape her mouth. Inky was hoping that is the sound of frustration and impatience coming from the Octoling for having to wait a for a while, but came across as a sound of confusion. Inky tries to look up to see the Octoling's face, but her face is obscure by her shirt and armor. Not that it didn't take Inky long to get worry as he felt the area around him grew dark suddenly. Peeking through the puddle he is in, he looks and panics as he sees a massive size finger slowly moving towards the spot Inky is at, the tip just massive enough that could shatter building and skyscrapers with little effort. Inky fear the Octoling felt him and is going to crush him on the spot, her finger getting dangerously close to the spot he was on. Inky quickly tries to swim upward faster, not wanting to be near the spot he's at as much as possible. Sound loud low rumble can be both heard and felt behind Inky as the finger tip is close to the spot Inky was on just a moment ago. Soon, the world shakes as the finger made contact to the stomach, shaking everything for Inky and nearly causing him to fall off the ink trail he just made. Still, Inky manages to not only stay where he was at, but sees that he barely just manage to survive getting smitten from the oblivious giantess as she rubs her finger on her stomach a bit before pulling her finger away. Inky hope it was over and that the Octoling might have felt and itch and that was it, but as he looks at the finger leaving, he catches a quick glimpse of a tiny droplet of ink that he made is stuck to her finger just as the Octoling lifts her finger to her face. Inky began to panic as he fear he might have been spotted.

While the Octoling was waiting for the broken down system to work, wondering how in the world she got stuck in this crummy station in the first place, she began to felt something on her stomach. Normally, she would have ignore it as it was probably just some water or something that got on her when she wasn't looking, but because of how long its taking for the door to open, she figures she moves her hand to swipe whatever is on her stomach away. She manages to get the spot she felt the very tiny feeling and pull her finger away. But as she pulls her finger away and looks at the finger to see if she can spot what was on her, her eyes spot a rather peculiar sight, a very, very tiny, droplet of blue ink, about the size of a speck to her. She wonder where the ink came from as she doesn't recall bumping into anything that spits ink on her way to the base. The only thing she can think of where it came from was from the boy she shrunk earlier, but she doesn't remember getting hit by him. And even if he did manages to get a hit on her, the ink should've dried off and fell off her a while ago. She wonders a bit more before thinking of looking at where she felt the spot she just rubbed at.

If the Octoling looks at the spot where Inky is at, he fears she'll easily find him, and who knows what will happen after that. Inky fears this was it as the giantess's eyes are starting to focus on his location. He thinks he has been spotted.

However, before the Octoling can figure out what is going on, the speaker turn on, causing the Octoling to break her train of thought and gave Inky a massive heart attack as he nearly fell off the Octoling out of fright. The person on the other side finally manages to get the door to start opening. The Octoling scoffs of how long it took the door to finally open, and the thought of the ink spot escape her thought as she prepares to enter through the door as it open. Inky was still nervous, but he takes this as a chance to continue climb as he is nearing the giantess's shirt and armor just as the Octoling starts moving again.

After a minute later, Inky manages to make it to the armor and shirt, finding that his ink is once again having a difficult time holding on to the surface, so he has to be quick once again. As he continues his climb, he manages to look around to see what is going on, and what he see is not helping him feel great about the idea of sticking with this Octoling more and more. For starters, there are more Octolings, similar to the one Inky is climbing on, but with different equipment and doing other things, about five, maybe six Octolings can be seen in the area, some waving at the Octoling Inky is on as they go about their business. Another thing Inky notices are there are plenty of signs that leads to different areas of the structures, armory, bedrooms, a lab, a command center, and few other things not worth noting. Its clear to Inky that this giant Octolings are ready for a fight, and it seems they are looking at Inktopolis. Inky fear how is anyone is going to take these kids on, clearly not aware that the Octoling has already taken some losts in the past, all thanks to Agent 3 and the Squidbeak Splatoon, as well as the help of some other unexpected squids and Octolings. Still, Inky wonders what they are doing here, and what do they have in store for everyone. His focus is slightly broken as he notices the Octoling is stopping again, this time at a counter where it seems she is here to drop her equipment off. As Inky is about two third up the giantess's armor and shirt and nearing her shoulder, he sees the Octoling is talking to another Octoling, who refers to the Octoling that Inky is stuck on as Captain. The two seems to be talking about the progress of the shrinking ink and if the Octoling is going to join her to help with more experimentation. The Octoling thought a bit and said she'll come back later at another time, handing the other Octoling her equipment. Inky felt the giantess moving a lot to take her stuff off her, nearly shaking him off once or twice in the process as he struggles to get near the shoulder. Thankfully for Inky, he finally manages to reach his goal and rest on the shoulder of the giantess, completely exhausted from the many hours of climbing the Octoling that he doesn't want to move. As Inky rest on the spot, he can hear the two Octoling talking to each other, the other Octoling wonder where the captain is going next.

The Octoling thought a bit for where she wants to go next, wondering if she wants to go to command center to see if she can file her reports or see if there are some assignments she can do. However, after the long walk she had to endure as well as the close call of getting spotted by agent 3, a big part of her wants to sleep for a while in her room. After a bit, the captain tells the Octoling that she'll....
