Winner poll: 2) Jumps to the Octoling's hand

Inky quickly thought of his option, time running down as he can feel his grip slowly starting to loosen, and deciding to just force himself to jump right to the Octoling's hand as her hand is very close enough that a safe landing is guaranteed, minus the fact he will be right back at stuck with the person that shrunk him. For Inky, landing on the hand was rather easy, almost like landing on a platform during an ink match, however, what happens next is what he wish he was prepare far better for as he knew the girl's hand would move in a second or three. As quickly as he can, Inky spray ink at the spot he was in and squid himself to the puddle, trying to hang on as the hand lets go of the Octoling's armor and soon swings down. Every nerve in Inky as shaking as he worries several things, him potentially falling the hand, the Octoling bumping into something and that would crush Inky, or the most likely scenario, the Octoling felt the ink on her hand and will examine her hand thus spotting Inky or wiping the spot, which would still crush the Inkling. The booming steps made by the Octoling is not helping as he felt every shaking steps distance below, follow by the harsh wind brushing him when her hand swings back and forth as she moves. What may have been seconds felt like forever to Inky as he hopes that the Octoling just minds her business and not notice him at all. After a bit of the thunderous steps being felt far below, the world started to tilt, everything shaking for Inky as everywhere was spinning for him. After a few seconds or so, Inky, while disoriented as he got out of the ink puddle, notices that the Octoling isn't moving, looking towards her head and sees while as distant snoring rumbles the air.

To Inky's amazement, he manages to stay on the Octoling's hand and not get discover, the Octoling must've been far too tire to even notice the tiny drop on her hand. The Octoling sounds deep asleep, her chest going up and down in the distant with her breathing easily being heard to Inky. The Inkling couldn't help but collapse on the spot, just wishing to take a far longer break so he can recover from everything that happen, but knows he needs to be moving if he wants to get away from the giantess as safely as he can. Glimpsing around, he tries to see what he can do while the giant girl is sound asleep, and not appearing to be tossing or turning at all. Inky can see the girl's right arm sticking out of the bed and dangling over the floor. If Inky can scale down that skyscraper of a limb, he'll easily will land in the carpet floor below. That might be a good idea for Inky as it would mean that he can have time to finally put some distance away from this girl and potentially get out of this area. Though, there are many problems with that idea, one being that the carpet floor looks rather dense and compact, so there's no telling if he'll navigate his way out of her. Two, even if he does, how would he get out of the base, he doesn't know anything that goes here. And the the third thing is his size issue, he would still need to figure out on how to grow back to normal or remain stuck at this size where it would be impossible to tell if anyone will notice him or not. Still, that's a risk he might be very willing to take as sticking with this Octoling is proving to be far more dangerous than he thought, and he thought a mountain size girl was dangerous enough. However, some thoughts has came to Inky's head as he remember some things that happen with the Octoling's interaction with the other one in this base, namely the file the other Octoling mention to the captain and the captain's phone she toss to her nightstand. Inky remembers hearing the other Octoling said that the file would hold the girl's next mission, while he also remembers seeing the Octoling using the phone plenty of times when she was walking the trip her. Inky figures that if he can get to the file, then maybe he out what these people want exactly, or at least see if it would mean he can continue to cling on to the Octoling a bit longer and wait till the two are back outside to near Inkopolis and Inky and jump off the girl, or just mess with the file for a bit to confuse the captain in case the file asks her to do something that could lead to more Inklings being in the same predicament as him. As for the phone, Inky figures that if maybe he can get to the thing and activate it, he might be able to see a few things, like what the Octoling has done previously before shrinking him, if something inside could give out what the major plan the Octoling has in mind better than the file that would only mention the next mission, or better yet, Inky can use it to call somebody, namely his friend Agent 3 as she's the only squid he can think of at the moment. The only problem for either options with the file and phone, it would require Inky to climb the Octoling's face as her head is blocking most of the path to the nightstand. He would have to cross her expose belly, then climb her chest, then scale her head and pick a path of which of the two he wants. Doing the first two things shouldn't be a problem for Inky as the Octoling didn't seem to notice him climbing her belly earlier, same for her chest. Its her head that makes Inky nervous as no matter what option he picks, he would have to get up and personal with her face and risk potentially waking her up if her face is sensitive enough to feel him. Thinking of the file, if wants to get to it, he would have to try to go around her cheeks and get on one of her tentacles and jump into the drawer since its open. For the phone, he would have to cross directly the middle of her face to easily get to the very top of her head and jump to the nightstand easily, which means he would have to get close to her mouth, nose, and eyes, and anything can happen there. Out of the two, the file is easily safer, but there's no telling if anything is truly worth in the file for Inky. The phone would have a lot of things that could help Inky, but the risk seems very high, he could wake the giantess in her sleep, or worse, not and something could lead to the girl unknowingly turn Inky to paste. Inky was not liking his options at all as he sits on the girl's hand and thought a bit of what he should do. After maybe a minute, Inky decides....

1) time to get away from the Octoling and climb down her arm and go to the carpet.

2) Takes his chances and climb her face a bit to go the file.

3) Take a major risk and scale her face just to get her phone.
