Hope not! Cage was my favorite when I was a kid. I know it's part of the plot to have him die in the game and such, but I was outraged they killed him off in the beginning of part 2 . I think at the time that was the first movie I'd ever seen that I thought sucked xD I'm glad they didn't kill him off in this short series. I disliked the test footage preview or whatever that was that showed him get killed off in one scene before.

Well in MK9 he became very powerfull in the end, so who knows what season 2 will do with him.
