Description @MikeD56s requested Emily a while back and I decided to do my take on her for my AU. (I don’t like her TVs livery (looks bland) and not many RWS takes on her.)

So here’s her backstory whilst we’re at it:

The Sodor and Mainland Railway was in massive debt by 1895 and wanted to look good for the public. So that year, they decided to buy a Stirling Single from the Great Northern Railway. But it was expensive and the company lost a lot of money. Emily would pull the express service on their railway, heading from Vicarstown, to Kirk Ronan.

However, the service wouldn’t last until 1901, the company unfortunately fell on their knees at that time and the railway had to close until they could reopen. They never did, but the NWR managed to merge them up when being formed.

Emily was moved to the Brendam Branch in 1919, after the Second World War with S&MR No.4 Whiff and worked the line until she was evaluated as ‘unsustainable’ for the NWR to run. She was brought by a private owner and remained at the Earl’s mansion with an also retired Whiff owned by said earl.

Emily would stay there, giving a few rail tours on the NWR’s mainline, but was put back into service for a short while in 1975 when her owner died and until another could buy her. She had some issues with Duck and Oliver at first but made amends once she left to go and stay in England.

Emily sometimes comes back to Sodor to do tourist trains and some galas on the NWR. She is a little bossy at times, but is a mother to all and can still run a good train on time.

—————————

This took a month to complete, mainly due to lack of motivation and getting back to school (lockdown made me have lots of time)

Originally, this was to be set in daylight, but decided to do nighttime to do some testing on how lights work. Of course, it isn’t perfect and I would change a few things. But ah well, hope you all like it!

One of my mates helped with the lighting on this one, so kudos go all to him!

DO NOT USE MY ARTWORK UNLESS I SAY SO!! DO NOT OBLIGE TO THIS AND ACTION WILL BE TAKEN!
