Description
Been a while since I’ve posted here lol. Here’s something I did a while ago but forgot to post here. Anyways it’s done now.
Also, judging by confusion on who this is, it's Arthur. Barry is a tender engine in my canon because that's what is generally accepted in the fandom. But do fret! I'm wanting to draw the rescue engine eventually!
So this is what's happening in the scene.
Stephen (the ginger man) Hatt has gone to Crewe to look for steam engines without permission by his father to see whether a steam engine could work goods trains on the Norramby branch line. Arthur is what he found, even though the plump man (one next to him) is being difficult and does not want Arthur to be sold.
He doesn't get his way however, when Stephen finds that Arthur has gotten a spotless record, which is quite rare on a steam engine and when telling his father about it on the phone, Charles cannot refuse the opportunity either and decides to buy Arthur off of the scrapyard in Crewe.
Stephen is just telling Arthur all of this and the engine is thrilled to be saved, with the displeasure of the plump man.
Almost forgot to mention something! But that shed behind Arthur... what's inside I wonder? (:3

I didn’t pick No.41241 because she is preserved to this day, so it will be weird to have two engines with the same number. I could have a version where No.41241 was Arthur and he was saved before a preservation society saved him. But I prefer to have existing engines be where they are right now.
I’ve made the excuse of Arthur having a different number by the crew members of the TV show no getting confused and by the time they realised it, they decided not to bother with numbers. So yeah.
