Description This piece was started before the piece I just posted on Jazz, which explains why some things are better in the picture of Jazz than they are here. Still, I'm really happy with how this turned out and I must say, that hair was one hell of a challenge.

First of all, I'd like to say thank you to so many people that were kind enough to put up tutorials to help other people with their art. I'll put some links to the tutorials that helped me with this piece and the piece of Jazz right at the end of all of this.

A large focus here was to do with the skin shading and facial structure. I've recently gotten back into using the 'blend' tool somewhat, although I'm finding better ways to use it now than I did at the beginning of my digital art attempts. I used to abuse that tool so much, haha. I've always had issues with semi-realistic noses and lips, but here I was able to rectify that somewhat using a different shading technique for the nose, and using the tutorials. The hair was definitely the most trying part of this whole thing, with the different colours in it. It turns out, there are so many tutorials out there for how to shade hair of odd colours, but I couldn't find anything for shading hair with multiple different colours in it, so I sort of had to wing it on that front, doing each section of it individually and tying them together one-by-one. The glasses were actually one of the best parts of this to work on, just because I sort of had the freedom to put down lines in whichever way they looked best, and it turned out well!.

This is Neon, she's a good friend of Jazz's and a dog, instead of a cat. She's got a brother named Jason, and is 'reluctantly' best friends with Pyke. As I mentioned with Jazz, feel free to ask anything about the character, either to the character, or towards myself.

Go check them out! Their creators are awesome, and It's an amazing thing that these artists are willing to help others out in such a way, and it's things like that which inspire me to try and do the same thing myself, to help out as many artists as possible! You probably don't know, but I have a folder in my Favourites that is for tutorials I find, there's all sorts in there if you're interested in them, so if you're interested in more tutorials, I'd definitely recommend looking at those, they're from a number of different artists and on a number of different topics.
