Description
So I set myself a challange this year, I think that I will be trying out more digital based works as it really stretches my skills.My first picture submission in SO long but overall I am really happy with how it turned out.
I've had around 5 years of experiance with freelance art so far and I guess things are still progressing for me on that front.
This picture will be one of hopefully many realistic(ish?) wolf pictures from me this year. I hope to expand my abilities even more ^^
Tis Seris one of my three wolfies, its been a long time since I have drawn him, I origionally wasn't going to ever draw him again mainly because I felt that what he represented in my life was no longer applicable, but I know that I am so wrong about that now
anyways enjoy
feedback would be lovely(I'm not even going to go into how long this took me to do and all it has given me is the greatest of respect for artists who specialise in realisim, in both digital and traditional media)

that is one badass looking wolf! I know that it took you forever to do that, and im sure that while the outcome was nice it musta been a pain in the ass to actually do, but you pulled it off amazingly! I dont think id ever have the patience to even do it the first time around XD

I think your realism is just beautiful. The fur is so detailed and really looking it really makes me feel like I could run my hands through it. I also think your anatomy is amazing, and I just love the way you did the faces and eyes. I also gotta say how much I love the angst look in the wolfs eyes and also how you did the snarl. The detail is just beyond amazing in both the fur texture to the background. I must say this is absolutely beautiful.

It'll be a while - our computer has had to be sent away to be fixed coz it died on us over christmas, and we havent got photoshop or hardly anything on this rubbish work laptop...

Awww.... purdy snarly. As a suggestion I would say you might want to look at the lines of the head, the angles appear to be a little odd for the pose.

I did have a lot of trouble with the head it seems like its slewed to the side a little, the angle was very difficult to get right as well

You're most welcome, if you have trouble with angles I suggest checking dog pictures of catching frizbees for the way things angle. It might make things easier for you to pose with

wow.... Oo...... um... I need to go crawl into a hole now. This is GORGEOUS! man you really need to find that one so long ago that you did of my RP character Baradeath and put it next to this one 
the only small area I see is right around the inner part of the front legs. Looks like it could be hardened up so it looks a little more like the paws disappear into the snow.
