Remember your old Blue/Red/Gold/Silver Pokémon Game ?Do you remember the sadness of leaving your favorite pokémons in your good old GameBoy Color ?
I've realized just after the announce of the Remake of the Ruby and Sapphire Version that I had still this bitter taste... My very first eevee in my Blue version turned into a Vaporeon my very first killer and "best" pokémon ever.
After the Ruby/Sapphire versions I was unable to train a vaporeon ever again feeling like I betrayed my good old pal x)
So if you're so happy about the fact your good old Ruby/Sapphire partners are going back to their region, don't forget your very first partners that still live within the pokémon you're using c:

Is it possible to trade through generations?Just trade your vaporeon into the future game and you still have it without losing your pokemon!(I dunno I dont play the real games)

It's possible since the 3rd generation. However, all pokemon captured on the Gameboy color can't be traded to the DS and so the 3DS which means every pokemon captured in Blue, Red, Yellox, Gold, Silver and Cristal can't be transferred to the newest versions :c
So with the release of Omega Ruby and Sapphire Alpha it's the first time your 3rd generation pokemon can "go back home".

Oh my I don't even remember which form I evolved eevee in the first time when I played red version in my childhood 
But I remember how frustrated I was for it not learning any strong moves quickly XD

It's like they are watching you from behind the Gameboy screen, paws pressed against the screen (glass(?)), watching you move onto the next newest pkmn game and slowly forget them ;;

I have the same feeling in my pokemon yellow. First was a pikachu, after in gold/silver, Feraligatr and Ampharos and finally in Ruby/sapphire was Breloom and Milotic... oh, good times...

Ahh <3 I have a Vaporeon who's one of my all time favs I've owned. I got him as an Eevee in Hearthome City, if my memory is correct? So that would have been 4th gen games. I've transferred him through every game I've had ever since, and he was my first Pokemon that I ever raised to level 100. Playing with him in Pokemon Amie was one of the things I looked forward to most from X&Y!
This little story just brings back memories, it's great. ^^

Unfortunately even if I LOVE so much Pokémon Sapphire/Ruby the fact I couldn't transfer him broke my heart
I just began to raise a little vaporeon again and I remember how much I loved my little eevee back in Blue c:

Ah, yeah that would have been really tough ;n;
I don't think I had any Pokemon from gold/silver that i really wanted to transfer, and if I did they were lost with my games when I moved when I was young.
Yeah I get a little bittersweet sometimes when raising a Pokemon of the same evolution line as one of my favorites, especially if I don't own the originals anymore. I really hope the new remakes allow for transfers so I can take my Jaejoong with me forever~! <3
