One day… Two days… Three days… It had been already three days for Tam, Ami and Niko, along with others pokémons, were stuck in the past. Tam was beginning to feel worried over Zig… What was he doing ?

“I hope he isn’t messing things up…” she smiled, remembering her first encounter with the reddish zigzagoon. He was so wild, so rude, so… Zig.

The rotom shacked her head, well it wasn’t the time to remember such things. Too many things were striking her mind at the moment. This past travel thing had totally changed her mind. At the same time she was scared, deeply scared… But at the same time, she didn’t know why, she was feeling happy as if she had waited forever for that event to happen. It was so weird.
Moreover, there was this strange frosslass lady hunting her down in her nightmares. Who was she ? What did she want ? No ideas, Tam was out of ideas and creped out each time she saw her when she tried to “sleep”. Each time, she had to make up an excuse to not worry Ami. Things were getting worse and better at the same time. Urg what a strange place the past was !

In the morning of the third day, she decided to look for that mudkip… Yes, that special mudkip that advised her when she was feeling so down… Saphir, was it ? He told her, he was staying around the village until today. Soooooo, she had to look for him in the forest around the village.

It didn’t take her long to find him. The mudkip was looking for some berries as it seemed so, well… Time for an entrance !

“Eh ! Eh Saphiiiir !”

“Aaah !”

The mudkip stumbled on the floor and looked surprised to see Tam. Saphir watched other all the berries that had fallen with him. He simply… Smiled ? Tam stared at him. Generally, people would have yield at her, which would be normal, but him… The rotom began to blush and was kind of embarrassed. That mudkip, he was… Special.

“Oh ! Tam ! That was just you, ahah.” Saphir laughed

“I’m sorry Saphir, I didn’t mean to scare you…” said Tam while looking worried

“No problem, my partner always does that. It’s not like you’re the first one to do it my little friend.”

Ah, what strange feeling…

“So, what can I do for you ?”

“Hum… Tell me stuff about you !... I’m… Curious…”

The mudkip smiled and patted Tam’s head. He didn’t notice how Tam was blushing. He was so gentle and easy going. It was… So good to be around him.

“Well, where to begin ? There is nothing interesting about me, I’m just a newbie in the matter of rescue teams and all.”

“A rescue team ?”

“Yup Tam, my best friend and I made a little team to try to help people. It’s nothing big but with all the problems around the world… We want to give hope again to people. My partner would tell you it’s more for the adventure side. I’m not too keen of that stuff, I prefer to simply act as well as I can to improve people’s lives. However for the moment… Ahah my partner isn’t here so I’m trying to make a surprise !”

“What… What kind of surprise ?”

“Shhh a surprise is a secret my little fellow ~”

Oh… Tam was so happy to talk with him and she couldn’t figure out why. Maybe because of his kind aura, he really was kind and honest, she could see that.

“Oh between Tam, are your friends staying here tomorrow ?”

Tam simply nodded.
