Magalie is a very enthousiastic girl. Very willing to take part in various activities, mostly silly and dumb ones and won't often say no if it allows her to experience something new. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life and sometimes can be caught thinking about how awesome it is for something to even exist. To her, everything is a marvel and she tries her best to make every day different. If nothing happens, she will be making the happening.

She dislikes boredom. She thinks that at her age, boredom shouldn't be a thing. She does want to experience it, but at the same time, there is so much more that she could be doing instead. So instead of staying still, she will go see her friends and try to get them into some crazy idea she would have come up with on the way to seeing them. It is also a way to avoid dwelling on certain thoughts.

Sometimes, she puts on too much of a strong front. It can be as good as it can be a bad thing in her case. She will do her very best not to make her friends worry and will turn the events that makes her sad or afraid into jokes, stubbornly so. She will never put herself above other people, ever and will go to certain extent to cover her pains up. She will even hide her sadness by engaging into more games than usual. She is mostly genuinely enthousiastic, but it is also a facade at time that ends up being self-destructive.

Magalie can also be very perceptive and will put all of her attention on the people she holds dear. Just as she likes to experience in life, she also enjoys seeing her friends got throught their own life and in a way, she wants to remember for them every moment that are precious. Moments that made them feel certain ways or changed them. She will cherish those moments for them so they can talk about it later in life.

Overall thought, she is a very energetic girl. Very social, she isn't afraid of taking leadership and get people to follow her up into her wierd experiments. She doesn't get cold feet easily and is very happy to take up a challenge. On a side note, she has a wide range of interest, from modeling to gaming to reading to sports, so it's quite easy to interact with her and she is very open to anything new.

Magalie was born in snowpoint city, where she lived a good portion of her childhood. She used to go to the same school as Gary and was also Lauren's neighbor. She and Gary are childhood friends. They spent about a year together in school, and when Gary moved out, they exchanged adresses in order to be able to write to each other. Which they still do up to this day.

When Gary moved out, she felt a little lonely. Soon after, her parents started arguing a lot and get into dispute at home. It was hard on her, unused to seeing such chaos and having no one to turn to aside from writing to Gary. Eventually, she came to the conclusion that being sad wasn't a good thing. Even in the midst of the chaos at home, she could try to be happier for herself. Magalie started coming up with games that she wrote to Gary, asking for his opinion on them. She wanted to do fun things so that she could convince herself that she was actually happy. Thing is, it ended up working.

She also started thinking that, life was a load of things to experience and she wanted to experience them all. As such, things that were once sad also became a part of the fun of life.

A few years later, when Magalie was 10 years old, her parents divorced. It was kind of a shock, after all those years of dispute, for them to stop all of a sudden felt kinda wierd. The silence that installed itself at home was unsettling to her. She figured that it was also a part of the experience, but she felt afraid for a while. Afraid of the silence.

Once her parents settled everything with the divorce attorney, she and her mom moved to Lumiose City. The culture gap between Sinnoh and Kalos city was quite big. Which made her into a bit of a misfit at school, shunned by her peers for acting like a country girl. She thought it was alright, in the beginning, but she felt lonely. She wanted to make friends with people. Figuring that, the only way she could do so was to be like them. Maybe she would make friends if she did the same activities, or had the same interest as them. As such, she read many magazines, watched a lot of tv shows, kept up to date with what was popular, and worked on the way she talked in order to communicate with the kids in her class and try to make friends. Which resulted in her widenning her centers interest and indulge in many activities and clubs.

For the most part, it seemed to work out pretty well in the end. She made quite a few friends at school, most of them being more of the popular girl type. She developed more interest in fashion and modeling with those friends. At some point, she and her friends heard about a model agency recruiting young talents for a magazine. They figured they could take part of it, and even if Magalie wasn't too up for it at first, she still went and surprisingly got the job. She was 14 at the time, so she needed her mom's approval for it and got it. It was the first time she had a job, unsurprisingly, since the legal working age is 15, but she did not dislike it.

Getting this job, however, had it's downside. Her friends grew jealous and started to bad mouth her. She ended up alone at school again. She was pretty sad about this, after all, she thought them to be her friends and closer than just this. At least, she would be busier now and she would be experiencing a lot of things with this job, so it was fine. She could model for game characters and fashion magazines. So all would be alright.

Not too long after this, her mother met a man. That man worked in an agency where she would model, and somehow, this man became her step-dad. She doesn't know how it all happened, but it happened and it isn't a bad thing. Seeing her mom happy again was something that made her happy in return. In four years, she hadn't seen her mom smile that much. Her mom decided that they would be living together with this man and his son. Althought, she also mentionned that she would be changing school. Since the man was talking about getting his son into St-Mortiel, all the way back into Sinnoh, because of the high reputation of the school. As such, they would both be able to attend it instead of the both of them going to a different school. They had dorms for students so she would live on campus with her step-brother, and it would also allow their parents to get installed together properly. In a way, it was the best for all of them. Magalie didn't really mind as long as she could keep her job and make her mother happy.

Plus, she sees this as an opportunity to experience more of what life has to offer her, and also, she would be able to see her childhood friend again seeing how she would attend the same school as him ! It was something that she couldn't wait to do.
