Not done by far, there's still a ton of work to be done on it but I've come to a dead end. I can't decide if I should color this or not. Meh... anyway, this is what I'm working on at the moment ( among other things )Water color, acrylics

I had an idea more along the lines of a water stream having been depleted or something when I started this one out, hence the gully. But perhaps it was a giant worm that caused it, who knows

Oh nonono it's not finished, I'm not done yet with this one^^ I've been taking a little break from it though, don't want to rush it but I'll pick up where I left off this weekend I think.

I've been playing around in photoshop for quite a while.. the coloring is working fine, but the shadowing and lighting is pretty tough. I use the smudge tools for it and the burn and dodge tools..

Riktigt, riktigt bra! Personligen kan jag nog tycka att du ska hålla den i gråskala... men å andra sidan så vore det ju intressant att se den i färg också. Scanna bilden och gör en test med ett color-lager för att se hur det funkar.

Hmm... ja det är ju det som är frågan. Men jag behåller nog originalet i gråskala så om det blir någon färg i bilden så kan jag göra det i Photoshop. Tackar tackar förresten min herre^^

Heh well no, it isn't finished. There's a few more details that need attention and also a lot more to be added. Light and additional shading and stuff too. Oh and more background^^Thank you btw

Hey you dont know me but i like this piece. i think that since it is done with paint that you should not color it! it is easier i think to control and convey debth via color, but you did such a great job at debth and shading that the color is vividly left to the imagination of the viewer.

Oh it's just as easy to color it in this state too but the issue here is if I should do it or not but I've come to the conclusion that it'll stay grayscaled in the original form. I'll do a digital coloring later. Thanks for the input

I am a sucker for contrast. Maybe only use one color (like green) and just color those things that are that color (green)? I dunno, anything you make is effing awesome as always

I like the gnarly trees and the pixie shepherd that's herding the trees as it seems. I like it in grayscale like this, still colour could make it more awsome. As always I am impressed by the gazillion details in th picture. You must be really, really patient.(and this is one of those pictures I'd buy a print of

Yes, when it comes to my art I'm indeed a patient man. I quickly get more frustrated with people and badly designed crap that people come up with though ( i.e not working to satisfaction ). Thanks mind you
