And after saying that they fly off, leaving the two of them alone again. Michael watches it for a moment, completely dumbfounded by this turn of events. She never asked to be important. she was much happier when they were just an ordinary person, trying to have an ordinary life. And now she’s been given a task to do that might be impossible. Assuming of course anything they said was the truth. Michael is unaware of the existence of any pokemon that is able to see into the future, so it’s entirely possible that they were just making things up. Based on how easily they tossed Ryan around it’s not to have their way with her, there’d be no reason to go to such lengths. Far more likely that they are a part of whatever that vulpix wants to stop and wants her to intervene to make sure their evil plan would succeed. But why would she be important to all that? Nothing about the situation makes sense and dwelling on it only makes her head start to hurt.

Michael decides that it’s best to just not dwell on it for the time being and sighs before starting to walk further into the forest, noting that Ryan seems to have been frozen by something or other and is still just staring off into space.

“Are you coming or not?” Michael asks, waving at them as they continue walking. “At the very least we should get our towel back to the bag. After that, well. I don’t think anything will beat that on the absurdness scale any time soon.”
