A render test of my character Emi. Shes rigged and all, but I just.. didnt pose her for this.. mabye I should lol. I'm quite happy with the overall look so far, and so wanted to share it here
Might update with pose, but its not important..Since when I'm done I'll upload a turntable here
Modelled, rigged and rendered in Maya2009. Compositing done in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
*Oh yeah! In doing this render... I didnt hook up the specular map and the alpha map.. so the transparency on her coat isnt working and theres shine on her coat lol XD;

The design was quick.. I made 5 designs in 2 days with 3 of them having a secondary colour pallete. It was quite fun XD;

Wow a lot quicker then me I am still working on a body and it is going on like about 2 - 3 months LMAO. Of course i don't have a lot of knowledge in the 3d modeling industry but i hope to change that this summer for I am starting with a collage that works on that. Thanks for the insight though

That's an awesome Nendoroid chibi style. However, the lips don't work IMHO. I think a very simple mouth would be more suitable.

Yeh the lips do show up quite prominent in the render. I'm happy with the lips in most of the lighting tho, but this shot does make it look very bold.
