Description
A blue crayfish captured in the National Danish Aquarium (The Blue Planet). I really like this animal because I remember seeing a lot of them on a trip down the eastern coast of the US and especially in the Florida Everglades. Their appearance change as they grow and the shield on their backs get larger and bulkier. There are apparently many different morphs of this creature, but this one looked more on the slim side.
