It's early 2024, and it's time to unveil the mystery slugs from my Merry Slugmas pic:

Fuchsia Snoball

Created in the United States of America by a dessert corporation, Fuchsia came into the world 'defective', they were way too bright in colour compared to her, many, many siblings and were missing the trademark dough-ball shaped tail being instead smooth all the way down. She was rejected and in true mega corp fashion to be sent off to a third party to be culled as swiftly as possible. Fuchsia however would be spared as a group of Militant Animal Welfare advocates stormed the place, causing chaos and getting into fights with the workers. Fuchsia escaped in the midst of the chaos, being scooped up by one of the advocates and taken to a small farm for rescue animals in Idaho. Fuchsia lived the first year of their life in peace and solitude, only for chaos to return when their owner suddenly died, and they were seized by the cops. By then, the brightly coloured slug was extremely wary of humans and would hide in the back of their cage. Fuchsia would later be given to a cop's son as a present since the dessert corp gave up trying to get their 'defunct product' back.

The boy wasn't happy to receive Fuchsia, knowing his dad brought her home as a way to get him to stop talking about wanting a puppy. Over time, thankfully, the boy learned to enjoy Fuchsia's quirks, especially since she would help him hide when his father would come home upset and start breaking things. Ultimately, the boy decided to set Fuchsia free when another slug showed up and noticed that both slugs were happier around each other and not deeply scared living inside a house with a man with deep mental issues. The two slugs would migrate from Idaho to the State of Slug.

Moo

An enigma in the False Slug world, no one knows exactly who or what species Moo is. Are they the last of their kind, or the first of many? People tend to find Moo in the least likely places. Most will say hi to the slug, earning a soft, squeaky Moo or Muu in return. People in the State of Slug, formerly known as Florida, claim if one sees and says hi to Moo over five times, something good will happen. After being taken in by Moo as a 'sidekick' Fuchsia has shown to be much less stressed. Moo seems to be 'well-connected' with one man claiming that Moo arrived to save another man from being eaten by Big Cheek Slugs via a Slug Bus. The Slug Bus rescued the man and steamrolled the Big Cheeks.

Since then, Big Cheeks tend to steer clear of Moo, supposedly.
