I adore the flicky-spattered stars most of all. I'm amazed at how opaque that paint is against the black (the few times I've used white paint on anything black it took about a jillion coats to get it not-grey).
This is so, so pretty. The colors, the poses--the flicky stars! I like the male figure's heart.

Well, there really wasn't a whole lot of detail other than just "color details", you know? the background was pretty quick, I painted it a solid black and let it dry. then I painted the uh...people and the earth and it was mostly just having fun playing with colors and dots. then I splattered the stars and pretty much that was it .(except inking it in the beginning, but if you look at the other version of this before I painted it, there really wasn't that much detail at that point..umm..yeah. I think I've rambled enough.
Also,yeshh, I was really hoping that the stars wouldn't end up clear-ish, and they didnt! I used this glossyish acrylic for the black backgroud, then splattered on the stars with white gouache...soo.
