Finally this little lady is done!!
This Geisha is my part of an art- trade with the uber talented !!
!!Not only was this an epic project but it hasbeen one of my absolute favorites in a long time!! I really enjoyed putting this little lady together all the while challenging myself with new sewing techniques, new patterns and designing the face!
She stands at 17.75" tall, is wearing a pair of pantaloons, black shoes, white under kimono, turquoise 2nd kimono, embroidered obi, and Autumn themed outer Kimono. All of her clothes and obi are removable!!!
She also has a hand-drawn face using watercolor pencils and gel pens. Her hair is made of corse yarn rolled and twisted into 4 separate buns. She also has various hand-made hair ornaments and flowers in her hair.

She was a joy t put together for you (eventhough she gave my daughter ideas on her own geisha!! 
)BTW - here is the awesome caketopper that made as her part of the trade for my Daughter's ( ) 13th Bday cake!!
Time: 2 weeks in total
Materials: cotton, sateen, chiffon, yarn, beads, toothpicks, felt, metal accents, paper, tassel

And yes I love Japan and basically Asian Culture. I would love to be able to visit there one day!

Thank you! I really tried my best on her and even though I redid her face 4 different times (and going back to the 3rd one - heh) I loved working on her.
