This is going to be a xmas gift for my little niece. She wanted something similar to the LaLaLoospy dolls so I came up with this hence NaNaNoopsy!My NaNaNoopsy Doll is based off of the plastic LalaLoopsy dolls and can wear the store bought clothes.
For my niece's doll Ivey I made the clothing non-removable (as requested). Her hair is cunky yarn (used almost 40 yards of yarn
) and her eyes are sewn on buttons with a felt backgound accent. Due to niece age it was also requested that the shoes be painted on instead of removable.Ivey is right at 14" tall.
I am thinking of offering these for sale as well when I open commissions again - what do you guys think???

Ummm. This one is not for sale and I will not have time to make any new ones for awhile yet for my etsy store. I may have time to make 1 or 2 but I will have to see. If I do you are welcome to buy one. I do not Β just give away dolls or plush- especially to people I do not know.Β
You could also try and get one of my commission spots whenever I reopen my commissions but that will not be until later this year.

Yeah it is great. And I love that we r so close while still living a few states away from each other. I live in Arkansas and my sis and her family live in Florida. We get to see each other only a few times a year but we make the most of it everytime.

That's great! I have a sister in the States too, she's in California and I'm in Guatemala so we haven't really seen each other in about 5 to 8 years. I have another newphew and niece who live closer but I'm still not able to see them as often.

What a cutie, the only thing that I don't like about lalaloopsy is that because of the plastic they are hard so this is just perfect.

yeah that is why my sis wanted me to make one similar to it for my niece since she is so young. this way she can't accidently bruise herself if she decides to sling the doll around

i am hoping so. surprisingly she was alot of fun to work on, even the hair! i tried to make it look as close to the lalaloopsy dolls as i could but with my own flare to it as well ya know! thanks again!

thanks. that's what i was going for! and since i was making it for my young niece i both glued and sewed the hair on to make it more sturdy for her to play with!

yeah. The little Monster and get a tad rough with her dollies but at the same time it lets me know how much damage one of my plushies can take! Her mom has nick named her my little beta tester when I design a new plush cause I always make one for her to see if she can destroy it or not!

Hahaha. Know the feeling there. My dog loves to sneak off with any plushie head that I have stuffed and set aside and our new rescued pup thinks my felt box is the perfect place to curl up and sleep all the time - no matter where I stick the thing!

yeah I have now started putting everything up on my high shelf so that they can't get to them. It's fun to watch them stare up at them and whine!

Thanks! Yeah I couldn't believe how much yarn I used until I measured the left over...but I love how it turned out so all is good!
