1 of 4 pictures I did the day before graduation for my teachers. Sorry for the rush job.For my Religion teacher, a young Mary with baby Jesus. Wanted to give it a Alphonse Mucha feel to it. My fave out of all four.

Very beautiful, what a different take visually to a very common and celebrated image. It looks much more pure than most stained glass window designs I would say, your image invokes a true sense of mother and child.

The first thing i thought when i saw this was "art noveau"
This is a beautiful piece! i love the tenderness and the neat use of lines.
The "frame" effect (whatever it is called DX) is also a nice touch : )

Very Beautiful. It looks like a Christmas card. Or a prayer card that you get a during Mass.I love it! It also gives off a feel of any mother with her newborn son. I say that because at first I thought, "Wow this is a great depiction of what feels like to hold your son close to you, during those first weeks." I can not tell you how amazing I find this piece.

Ah! I'm glad you found it that way!(: Because this wasn't merely a religious piece; I wanted to do a sort of tribute to all mothers everywhere. Although I don't like children, I've always found motherhood fascinating, and I wanted to capture that beautiful moment where a mother realizes here existence is nothing without that tiny life.(:

Que dibujo mas bello~
Si supieras que so~e con este dibujo, pero en movimiento. Una cosa rarisima, cuando lo vi me senti super rara. En el mismo sue~o tu me lo estabas demostrando.
Anyways, me encanta los detalles <3 lo mas que le a~ade a este dibujo son los colores suaves, al a~adirle sombras por inking y hacer solo los colores bien suavecito trae una calma interior y pasiva. Me encanta el pelo, es que tiene algo que no parece algo que tradicionalmente harias, pero que aun asi quedo hermoso. Los folds como siempre te quedaron maravillosos <3 y me gusta mucho que le hallas puesto esas "coronitas" de bolitas porque te hace notar que son un rank mas alto y alguien quien deberias de valorar.
las flores quedaron HERMOSAS, aunque no lo creas llevo la semana entera tratando de hacer sunflowers y no me salen. y viendo como tu las hace tan bellas me da una envidia.
y me acabo de dar cuenta de la transparencia de la frisita de ensima me encanta al igual que los bordes!
Hay Dios mio <3 hay tanto que ver en el dibujo que me encanta. No creo que halla algo que no me guste en el dibujo. y aun hecho con prisa te quedo hermoso. Ahi Dios mio, si tu vieras mis trabajos a la prisa lloras de lo feo que son xD

The hair thing is something I've always done for sketches, but since it's so time-consuming, I've never bothered adding it to a finished piece. I'm glad I did for this.(:

Y digo a la prisa, pero tomo como una hora hacer esto.XC Pero para dibujos asi me gusta dedicarles HORAS so pa' mi si fue rush. Malditos artistas ke hacen bellezas en segundos.X'D
