Been busy with things so I couldn't finish this by Halloween, but thought I'd quickly post it for some critique. :]Kempley, my HP character, in a 'costume' of sorts. I was thinking of either doing masquerade or something Dia de los Muertos, but I figure I'd do Masquerade for her (since she's British, not sure how that matters butβ¦troll) and draw Ace in Dia de los Muertos makeup. Since he's sexy. And Spanish.
The mask she's wearing is a snape bird mask. Her entire dress theme is 'raven' as that's her patronus. I figure this could serve as my own 'entry' into my own challenge LOL.
There's also a daffodil on the mask/headdress. Daffodils are her favorite flower.
Colors will probably be on the darker side--purples, blacks, dark greens. Was going to use green and purple only but I don't want it to look too mardi gras.
Not too much detail yet. Probably going to be intricate lattice designs on the dress and the mask. My smallest/thinnest ink pens are running out so I dunno when I can finish this. ;__;
Not sure if I want to make her older here (where she has her natural blonde hair) or have her in 'school years' where her hair is split-colored, brown and blonde. Welp.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That's...part of the mask. o_o The areas around the eyes are dark on the mask, but I didn't want to shade it in too darkly because it's a rough sketch. I also didn't fully draw her bottom lid since, again, this is a rough sketch and I just needed to place where her eye would be.
I don't want this to sound bitchy, but next time just please say what you just said in this comment (what I mean is just be straightfoward)--because if all I get is, "this is blah" or something general, then I will never improve or be able to change anything because the problem wasn't pinpointed.

Excuse my migraine for the lack of details from the first time. If a person is too straightforward in criticism, the backlash can be greater opposing to someone who already dislikes criticism

Anyway, on a more related note, this is really cool. I love the thought and design behind it!
The only weird thing about it is the markings on the mask. It makes Kemp look like she's taking a shit a little because they look like eyebrows lol

hahaha its all thanks to a piece Austen did a looong time ago, with Kemp/Liz/Ace as Deatheaters. Ace had a matador cape on and I was like MUST INCLUDE HIS CULTURE
