Sly loves keeping busy. Almost like a drone, he will charge through any task or job you throw at him. He's a big man with much energy to work off, so no task is too big for him. He's an extrovert; being able to make small talk and attempt to befriend any stranger that crosses his path. His boisterous tendencies usually bring an extra kick to parties or friendly gatherings as he's usually the nosiest and rowdiest. He tries his best to make everyone feel included and apart of the community, often poking at isolated individuals to come join him or the group to converse and have a good time. He may love to work a little too much. Sly isn't a stranger to overwork himself, often coming home late and sleeping until the next night. He doesn't mind the excessive amount of hours he took, though he does mind the amount of hours he's wasted by sleeping for an entire day. This point of exhaustion has worried his mother on numerous occasions and Sly does sympathize, yet he doesn't feel right if he has nothing to do. This sort of behavior has caused him to jumble up his thoughts as his focus lays on his work ethics. Sly isn't very well kept either. Since most of his day is spent outside, his apartment has takeout boxes and clothes scattered around aimlessly. He doesn't care much to clean up, he rarely invites guess over to his apartment anyway. The lack of sleep has also made him into a bit of a grouch. Once his blood starts to boil, his lively smile and tendencies turn into aggression and annoyance with his brows furrowed. More often than not, he'll call out the root of his annoyance bluntly, no matter the time or place.

▌H I S T O R Y tldr; bee boy and his mom lived off of father's income for a while until bee boy clapped back in spite

Sly was born into the lower middle class in the outskirts of Steel Mills, bordering Jolt Vista. He lived with his mother, with no exact information of his father's whereabouts. Yet, his mother had always glorified his father despite not being in Sly's life; "He's a good man. You remind me so much of him, my dear." She seemed overwhelmingly passionate about him, as if she was still lingering into the honeymoon phase. She would sit with Sly and reminisce in the far past, when his father would stay stationary at home during Sly's infant years. The two would flip through old photographs of the three together. His mother's eyes would always seem love struck and soft at the look of them. Sly had always wondered what kind of man he was -- what made his mother stay so true to this man.
  His father would occasionally send a generous amount of money to the two with questionable return addresses. Naturally, this all brought curiosity and suspicion to Sly but his mother never disclosed specifics, only dismissing him with a simple, "He's a hard worker, just like you. His job doesn't allow him to be home all the time." To Sly's surprise, his mother seemed remotely contempt with their current lifestyle, and so he put it behind him and followed his mother's feelings. Though he appreciated the financial stability, he always had a sense of resentment toward his father for not providing emotional support for the two.
As time went on, Sly grew less reliant on his fathers income. He applied for many jobs to keep his hands busy and to support his mother in spite of his shadow of a father. He would take smaller jobs, such as paper boy, busser, and cashier, until he was offered a job in construction by a close friend. Sly earned decent amounts of money, though it went straight to rent and groceries for the two. His mother appreciated Sly's dedication and hard work and put the income from his father into a trust fund in case of an early passing.
