This pic is based on how I used to play with these two figures as a kid.
Sewer surfer Mike from TMNT and Headbanger from Toxic Crusaders.
Since both toylines were extremely similar, I always mixed them all up for extra fun.
Playmates was pretty smart for making the Toxic Crusaders toyline with the same scale and level of detail as the TMNT.You got to love these two toylines.

Did you know that New Line cinema, the guys who made Ninja Turtles 2 and 3, bought the rights to make a Toxic Crusaders movie?
The rumor is that they did it to create a scare tactic for the Ninja Turtles guys.

You've been crazy-busy lately! That's one nice and unexpected crossover pic that actually makes sense.
Another good reason to use that scale: so they could reuse TMNT's vehicle and playset molds. That Pizza Cannon (whatever it was called) sure did get a lot of use over the years. But those two toylines were a perfect fit and led to this pic, so it's all cool

Hell yeah! Toxic Crusaders!! XD I used to do the same thing, man. I would occasionally add Captain Planet into the mix, just for fun. The best ever was doing WWF-style Survivor Series or Royal Rumble matches with them. ^^
