If Filmation had done the NA cartoon and it looked like this, I would've been a huge fan! Especially if John Erwin & Alan Oppenheimer had stayed on as the voices of He-Man and Skeletor!

Aside from the fact that He-Man is missing a gold band for his left wrist, this picture is ALL adventurous! Do more "New Adventures" in the Filmation style when you get the chance.

I think NA He-man would have been more popluar if they would have kept more stuff from the original show. I mean I liked the animation from DIC, but I think that they removed to much from the original show to make it He-Man.

I think you did a great job on this and went the extra mile adding the glowing effect but man I hated when He-Man was in this era

Thanks man! I think the biggest problem back then was the way Jetlag productions designed the characters because, the cartoon itself was very good.
It was a big departure from the original Filmation designs. Maybe if Filmation had done the animation back then people wouldn't have felt the same way about NA as they do now.

For me it was just too big a departure from the original series for me. I wasn't so much against the animation but just how drastically they changed the designs of the characters, the storyline and how it almost became a space opera instead of a technology meets sword and sorcery sort of thing.
I absolutely loved the remake of it on Cartoon Network though. I really wish that series had kept going.
