Description Calling Cast 4. First up we have the Clergy Sword outfitted in "Cutlass" dive gear. The "Cutlass" soldiers are the Clergy naval infantry. They are trained for deep sea ops and land ops. The gear they wear can work below and above the waves, and offers similar protection as the standard Sword gear. The Cutlass is outfitted with a hydro-jet pack that allows the user to move at high speeds underwater (can not be used to fly) . The Cutlass units do not carry O2 tanks, but instead draw O2 from the water around them with a specially designed filter mask. this mask contains a filter system that extracts the oxygen from the water by using a membrane similar to fish gills (more on this later). The Cutlass are armed with a P98 gyro-slug rifle. This weapon is a variation of the P94 and work below and above the waves. They also carry all the standard weapons of the Swords

Next we have The Clergy Avian . The Avian pilots the Clergy aircraft everything from the Thronbird Hyper Sonic Transports to the Hayabusa Trans- atmospheric fighter/bomber ( to be posted at a later date). The Avian are equipped with a 10mm sidearm and receive the same basic train as the Swords.

Finally we have the Mariners , The sea-borne ops pilots and crews for the Clergy naval ops. The Mariners pilot and crew the Clergy submarine fleet. They pilot the Tigershark hyper-captivating Surface/sub-surface Attack Transports (similar to the Thorndbird ,just aquatic and to be posted later), The Orca Deep Sea Vehicle and the Blue Super Sub/Carrier (both to be posted later). The Mariners are equipped with a 10mm sidearm and receive the same training as the Cutlass. The Mariners suit provide equal protection to the Swords gear.

Very nice. I'm curious: I've seen a streak of your Clergy tech like the Brimstone and Intruder, but that's left me wondering whether they play the protagonist in their story all this while. The Calling sounds like an interesting story from your illustrations.

u could say they are the protagonist . but once u see the overall story u'll have to decide. the book is currently being inked and colored, once its done i'll be posting a link and it will be in Haven for distribution. and thanx.

I see. They sure must have a lot of gray morality areas. You're the author for that book?

mikecharles In reply to KajiTetsushi [2009-08-15 06:32:25 +0000 UTC]

yes i'm the author/creator. the book is about an ancient secret society, so it's safe to say that the morals are VERY gray.
