Description This was a study of a Green Anole lizard. If I remember correctly I used reference but I don't think I used just one image for the whole thing. I remember catching these guys all the time when I'd go camping at Fort Wilderness in Disney World. Along with Skinks and a bunch of other lizards and tree frogs, snakes ...and I remember the first time we saw baby Alligators in the fishing stream/pong. Then we saw Momma about 8ft long. O_o lol

I use to own a few as pets when I was a kid. I just got to hold and play with a few when I went to Disneyworld a few days ago. They are such awesome little animals. I love when they turn a BRIGHT shade of green.

Thanks, I used to catch them when visiting Florida all the time.. they're so easy to tame and very cool animals. Especially how quick they change color.

That texture is amazing (read about how you made it in previous comment), thought it was a stretched fingerprint, myself. The bleary little eye is fantastic.

They're such fun animals. Changing colors to blend in, or to show mood. They're so easy to tame and when they turn bright green they're BRIGHT BRIGHT green.

2364 x 1744 px at 300 res.
They didn't need to be that big because they were intended for a digital download Magazine tutorial series. The skin texture was a custom texture made by scanning in a rubber "bottle cap opener" it's like a little hand towel but thin/tubber with beaded ribs. Makes a nice scale pattern.
