Description
As suggested by the name and obvious from the image, this creature is cable of combining a mixture of liquids it creates in chambers of its internal and external organs to produce a flammable substance. The body of this creature is impervious to flames or heat, it is made up of a substance similar to that of flint, slate, stone..I wanted the creature to have a very "unique look" but I also wanted the viewer to be able to relate it to an existing animal, so if you look at it you may see a small resemblance in the face to that of an elephant. While at the same time it contains similar attributes to a rhinoceros beetle or Hercules beetle. This creature can't be categorized in any of the known Families of animals found on earth.

Question? How would it produce skin like that? What materials is made of? Is it made in the body or gathered externally?

This is probably not the first comment comparing this to Cthulhu, but the resemblance is striking!

Thanks.
Certainly a good question..lets see if I can pull an answer out of my A$$. JK
Actually, if you look you'll see something that appears to be a lower jaw that kind of fits around the three longer tubes, and you see that red inner glow where a mouth might naturally be? A portion of the thick middle tube is covered by the lower jaw-like feature but the mouth opens at that region, and it uses a long tongue like a giraffe's tongue combined with an elephant trunk... like a long prehensile tongue capable of grasping its food and brining it into the mouth. Since this creature doesn't have sharp teeth or a mouth capable of opening very large it's not a carnivore. It feeds off things like vegetation, bark, certain types of rock, bone left from carcasses and minerals along with other such things.

Whoa, very creative design. It looked a little like a squid to me when I first saw it for some reason.

Fantastic, the steam at the back of the creature gives it a bit of an industrial machinated feel, even if it is purely organic. A "Mechanimal" perhaps?
Just looking at it i can get an idea of what kind of environment it lives in, it's weak points and abilities - a real imaginative trip.
Thanks for this upload!

Thanks.
Yea, I figure if this animal is going to create fire unlike a dragon, it would need some kind of ventilation system which might be interesting. One vulnerability are the oval shaped sacs on the back. All animals are vulnerable in some way, so imaginary creatures should to some extent reflect those weaknesses.

Oh, I love the steam coming from the back. It really adds a sense of strangeness to the creature.

I think what really seals this whole creature, beside the great flame effect you've done, is the eye

Thanks, I'd like to think I could aim for something a little higher than Pokemon
I'm waiting for my opportunity to finally work on a big creature related film.
