Hi guys! Here's a little something different for now that I thought could pass the time. Another engine drawing, and the next character I choose out of random is Arthur the LMS Engine. Lately, I've been in an Arthur mood a little bit, and you can bet this happened ever since the Unlucky Tug uploaded that Tug's Trains showcasing of his Arthur model, and his backstory in his AU last week. his Arthur model and the history for his head canon was amazing, and I really like what he did for the big burgundy fellow, and I was considering drawing a Thomas character in how I'd present them for my AU, so I choose Arthur. It was hell again I admit, as like I said, drawing trains can be a real bitch, and I had to go through 3 sketches to get Arthur right, and while this may not be perfect, I am proud of what I did at least.

And since S2 in my series will be introducing my take on the S6-S7 characters, I thought this would be the perfect time, as Arthur will be introduced in S2, and I really look forward to that, and my own take on Spotless Record. It does seem lately in 2021, the S6-S7 characters have been getting quite popular lately even after 18 years. I can't say I blame the fans, as even though the first 4 seasons are awesome and nostalgic, S5 kicks ass for telling us Thomas fans it was time to grow up, I do like S6 & S7, not as much as the first 5, but they had some enjoyable moments, but the characters introduced were very great, and I really like them, except for Elizabeth. The feel as if somehow they really did have a place in the RWS, and Arthur is no exception, as I like the idea of a LMS 2MT Ivatt Tank having an organized, responsible, and moralistic approach to everything he does, a catchy theme, and his LMS livery looks so authentic, and the fact he runs the Norramby Branchline, there is so much to like about Arthur, and it really sucks that they couldn't even do that much with him.

But hey, that's why we got fan series, especially EE93, who to this day, I believe has the best portrayal of Arthur, and whom I honestly feel is like the main character in Enterprising Engines, or Edward maybe, you decide. In Engines Together, nothing much different will change, except, I changed dip in his running board to a curve instead of a diagonal running board, to make him look like an actual Ivatt 2MT. Plus, I don't really like Standard class engines that much, except for the 9F's. Like the Unlucky Tug, Arthur will also be the actual Ivatt 41241, which I thought was a clever idea, though Arthur is the NWR's #18. He'll actually be shown to have a little more confidence and can stand up for himself just fine, but not confrontational though, he'll be just like how EE93 portrays him. That's all I got to say, and I hope you all enjoy, as S2 will be out as soon as possible, I don't know when, but I'll take it one step at a time.
