Hi guys. Here's something different, and this is really more as a tribute to one of my favorite music artists of all time. Recently word has gotten out that Burt Bacharach, the man who wrote such great songs as What the World Needs Now, the Look of Love, What's it All About, Alfie, Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, I'll Never Fall in Love Again, and many more had sadly passed away. As you can imagine, I'm quite upset, as I love Burt Bacharach, and I always enjoyed listening to his songs. What the World Needs Now as you can tell in this tribute is not only my favorite song of his, but in general, my favorite song of all time, as it's a song that always brings me peace and love to play on happy occasions or to put me to sleep. In fact, I was hoping someday to have this song in my series, Engines Together.

Like many people I'm sure growing up, I was introduced to Burt Bacharach through the Austin Powers movies, as those movies being a parody of the James Bond films as well as the 1960's in general, always included songs by Bacharach and even the man himself cameoing in the movies. In fact, both Burt and Mike Myers are good friends that have collaborated with each other over the years, so it was thanks to Mike Myers I became a Burt Bacharach. So to pay my respects, not only will I be listening to his music, but also making this portrait to show how much I care. As in this modern, violent and selfish world we live in, we all could use his music to remind us of all the love and peace in the world, as that's what the world really needs. No not just for some, but for everyone.
