i've been meaning to draw ezio for the longest time, plus i just finished playing portal 2. i LOVE both games, and decided to combine the two together.when you think about it, both have lots in common (at least chell and desmond do). and when i thought about it some more, i could totally see how they could meet each other (i mean chell and ezio as desmond).
and yes, you read that right: there will be more parts telling a rough story of their meeting (at least 2 more). yes, there will be bad guys. yes, there will be assassinations, and portal making.
as for the games themselves, well they're about my favorite games ever. simply wonderful. portal 2 was FANTASTIC. shooting the moon? ugh, it gave me CHILLS, its so brilliant.
needless to say, its roughly widescreen for your wallpaper needs.

yeah that's what i meant. i just thought it was for comedic purposes. i mean it WAS funny the way he explained it. ;D it wasn't until the climax everything fit together.

I love both these games! I've played Portal/Portal 2 so many times, but it's so well written and funny that I can't stop.
As for Assassin's Creed, I play it whenever I hang out with a friend who has it and even though I love that game to death I am hopelessly bad at it. DX

and yeah, it funny how similar they are. if i were to write the story, desmond (ezio) and chell will both be wondering if the other is part of a test/simulation. desmond would think chell is a glitch in the abstergo software, and chell would think desmond is another sick psychological test by aperture/glados.

with this drawing, my main goal was to present my idea or concept as close as i can to whatever's in my brain. fidelity to the source image, while important, is secondary. when i do a project like this, i'm thinking of a hundred things all at once -while- drawing. so i'm perfectly happy with "good enough" with regards to this pic.
who knows? with more time and more effort, i might just make a perfect replica... that's the thing though, you NEED time AND effort. and considering i want to release the pic sooner rather than later, something had to give, and in this instance the portal gun was it.
so portal gun not looking like the real thing? meh, it happens. the important thing is i was able to put a chell/ezio team up on paper.
personally, if i had a nit to pick, i wish i made chell hotter... or maybe i wish i was able to put the detailed embroidery on ezio's clothes? see what i mean?

out of the two, i would have gone with chell. not that i am biased, but the assassin dude is complex enough as he is.
... now i personally do NOT like talking about this, but i think you made chell's.. chest.. a bit large...

haha! ah, well... when you draw a lot, your psycology sometimes shows on the page. not just in the subject matter but also within elements of the picture itself. know what i mean? an artist likes tall blondes, he consciously or unconsciously draws tall blondes, and so on. in my case, i wanted chell to look like the type of woman i'd find attractive. i -don't- have to do it, and it -may- not look canon, but it sure does make drawing FUN. and that's important to me. ;D
