I loved reading mythology when I was younger, It was always good for the monsters and violence and sex kept out of most of the other reading materials I had available to me (at least until I got my hands on Watchers by Dean R. Koontz at Super Stop And Shop at age 14). I can't directly recall any myths that start with Poseidon and Zeus getting drunk on a hill and egging each other on to more and more ridiculous stunts, but is sure sounds like an awesome one.Related content

This still makes more sense that the time Zeus turned into a golden shower to bang someone. Just like how many licks it takes to reach the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop, the world may never know how Zeus managed to do that.

The golden shower one is so weird! Maybe the greeks were more into piss play than we realized and it was just a very apt metaphor? I am gonna spend way too much time thinking about the specific mechanics of Zeus's sexual antics, today...
