I don't have much to show, but, I want to give a lil gift as a 'thank you' for those who reported the art thief in Newgrounds...It's not really useful, but, I just hope i'm able to show some things for people to learn... It's recommended to know how to use Photoshop and AfterEffects first before looking at it...
I've also added an animated gif showing how a scene was prepared element by element... (Click 'Download'... 6mb tho)

'Kay, i tried counting and the total frames are approx 964... (that excludes the frames for non-animating elements)

Due to sudden changes DA implemented regarding GIF files with preview image, I decided to remove the gif to make the tut show up again

A question:
For the 'in betweens' did you draw the whole thing/character again (in a slightly different position)? or sort of just trace it/copy the last frame?
And you know how you made it look like its drawn frame by frame, is that pretty much just looping it?

Drawing the first and last frames first and then the in-betweens. Hmm... that's very interesting. Is there such an established technique or you thought of it? 
Adobe After Effects... that software looks quite suitable for adding effects to many frames and animating them. It would be way easier with it instead of adding the same effect to every frame, then save it as a jpeg or something and make it a GIF, for instance.

You have to buy it somewhere.
You can order it online, or get it at a store.
The full suite is expensive, and I don't know if you can get just one program from it.
Adobe CS5 is coming out soon.

was it a success as a girl? did it make her melt? its really awesome that you put so much time into it even tho you didnt get to stand on the shoulders of professional giants. an animator from pixar couldve probly finished in 10% the same time, and that show you put extra love into it
