Have you tried Corel Painter? I know a lot of artists prefer the Adobe stuff, but I don't know, I like the way Painter feels, and the ability to really paint more like you'd be able to with traditional tools.

Either way, you're still one of my favorite artists. You can rock the hell out of some acrylic AND some photoshop!

I've tried Painter, but haven't had much luck with it. There was a lot of cursor drag, and it really took the fun out of it.

You might want to try turning off the ghost brush in the options usually clears up a lot of lag. I'm a PS guy myself but, that may help you out if you want to give it another shot someday.
