My entry to the Tombraider competition. Went for a poster style.I drew inspiration from some of my favorite illustrated posters of Indiana Jones and Star Wars.
Pencil drawn and coloured in Photoshop. Approx 25 hours.
All art by me (Mike Packer).

I think you perfectly captured the fact that Lara was forced to become a survivor, and had to kill people. She's tough as nails and probably scared as hell. XD I think you should've won, not many other people captured her development as well as you, most of them only seem to be of her badass side :3 I love Lara as a character and you've done her excellent justice.

People seem to think that Lara isn't the same-old Lara but I think the new game explains why she is who she is now. It was great writing for a video game too :3

Yeah, as good as artwork was, a lot of them looked like they could be a still shot from the game and didn't tell the story behind the character.
I agree. She hasn't changed, just a great idea by the game company to tell the origin behind her character.
