Description
Recently we are re-watching the A-team series of the 1980's and I have been reminded of my favourite tv character of all time; Captain Howlin' Mad Murdock.
I like him so much that it has become a way of life for me. It may sound weird, but the words "Howlin' Mad" stay with me forever. Maybe because I can identify with him in terms of craziness. Goof around without caring what others think.

Next to the above, his way of dressing appeals to me too and I love the fact that he is a skilled pilot, but above this, he may be the most intelligent member of the team after John "Hannibal" Smith.
It was only natural that an art dedicated to our favourite "crazy fool" as B.A. likes to call him was due. Hereby I would like to present my take on this character played by the actor Dwight Schultz.

Unfortunately it was really hard for me to capture his expression, mainly because I didn't use a screenshot from the series, but a series of screenshots and reference pictures to construct the pose and surroundings as I had in my mind. Funny enough this was not what I had in mind, but what I did have in mind was way too hard to achieve for me in my current state. Lacking the dynamical skills that came with my original idea I settled for the next best I had in mind, and the result payed off.

I am not happy about the expression of my favourite captain, but I am happy with the overall result, and if I may be honest, I even see a little improvement in colouring, which is quite hard for me to acknowledge.
This eventually brings us to the proper introduction of my artwork:
