Description I've only really posted my paintings on DeviantArt until now, but I've decided to branch out (I'm a graphic designer so I do a wide range of design work) and show some of my other stuff.

This is some (vector) illustration work I did for a client who is opening a wine bar. The theme of the bar is outer space, especially Mars, and he wants it to have a retro-futuristic look/feel to it. The illustrations are his/hers placards for the washroom doors. I placed the man and woman together in this image, but they're actually two separate illustrations.

Took my roughly 15-20 hours. All done in Illustrator using the pen tool.

They may be! 
This was the last bit of work I did for the guy, and I never heard back from him about how the bar was doing. He may have scrapped the original idea and opened up the Space Room Lounge instead. If you could confirm if these are indeed the same images I'd love to know.

Wow, I really like this one! The shades of red you used all work really well together, and I totally get the retro-futuristic feel! I'm impressed by how you only used a few shades to depict objects like the rocks and the spaceship; it's so clean looking and without the use of harsh black lines, too!
