The beauty and femininity of a woman is one of God's greatest gifts to Humanity. I embrace that and I believe that all women should as well. As for why I became a fighter pilot, well... I love my country and I also love planes, so it's a win/win for me!

Mariana Estelle Alcazar (known as Mary to her friends) was born in San Antonio, Texas, in 1994. She is of three quarters Mexican and one quarter Filipino descent. Witnessing the 9/11 Attacks on live television at the age of 5 (her school opened late that year due to renovations) played a major role in shaping her into the devote patriot and Catholic that she is today. Living between two US Air Force bases and constantly watching (and hearing) F-15 Eagles and F-16 Falcons roaring through the skies above helped ensure that she would become a fighter pilot.

Growing up as a hardcore lesbian in just about any place in Texas (except Austin) wasn't exactly easy, but Mary always had a tough soul... AND martial arts training. Other kids would occasionally taunt and laugh at her, but at only one point during middle school was her life in danger. A local bully (whose sister she was friends with at the time) and four of his compatriots cornered her alone with baseball bats in an alley not far from the school ground. The bully accused her of "trying to turn his little sister into a dyke" and attempted to swing. She ended up breaking his jaw and wrist, the nose and arm of one of his friends in three different places, gouged the eye of the second friend and crushed the groin of the third friend. The fourth friend saw the writing on the wall, dropped his bat and ran off. The Judge ruled it as self defense and no one would ever attempt to assault her physically again. That was her first real taste of combat though, and it would haunt her for years to come.

Mary always believed in embracing her feminine beauty, and even from a young age would constantly wear makeup and jewelry, style her hair and dress as provocatively as her parents would allow. She was obsessed with acting as "ladylike" as possible, avoiding the usage of adult language and doing to her best to not get dirty while outdoors. Despite all that, she was also quite athletic, keeping with her training in Aikido and Karate. In addition, Mary would also become avid in multiple forms of dance, especially Belly Dancing and Brazilian Samba (she tried to do Latin Ballroom as well, but wasn't comfortable dancing with male partners).

When it came time for Boot Camp, Mary was able to power through her fear of getting dirty just long enough to pass through basic training. After graduating second in her class at the US Air Force Academy in 2018, she chose to fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon (aka "The Viper") due to its "sleek sexy feminine appearance." After a few more months of training, learning all of the ins and outs her aircraft and how to achieve maximum performance with it as well as training for combat, she was assigned to the USAF's renowned 55th Fighter Squadron (aka "The Fighting 55th"). She arrived in late 2019, just in time for war.

Far Right US President Michael Dorf, in a desperate attempt to boost his dwindling poll numbers, decided to launch his disastrous "Two Birds Plan." The plan called for massive simultaneous aerial bombing campaigns of both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, under the justification that both countries were "leading state sponsors of terrorism." The two campaigns were code-named Operation "Persian Liberty" and Operation "Latino Freedom" respectively. The 55th Squadron was assigned to Al Asad Air Base in Iraq and would participate in Persian Liberty.

Then a Lieutenant (given the callsign "Lips" due to her obsession with makeup), Alcazar and her flight would be perform SEAD, suppression of enemy air defense, missions (aka "Wild Weasel" missions). The operation would not go particularly smoothly though. China and Russia had secretly bypassed US sanctions and significantly helped the Iranians beef up their anti-air defenses. The 55th would lose four of it's own during the operation, including one of Mary's own wingmen.

On January 7th, the first day of the conflict, immediately after taking out an Iranian radar site, she picked up a flight of two F-5s on her Falcon's air to air radar. As they continued to approach, she eventually fired a long range AMRAAM missile at one of them but he was able to dodge it and took off in the other direction with his wingman, denying her the honor of being the first female pilot in US history to score an air to air kill. US Navy pilot Laura Heidelberg would end up having that honor over Venezuela just a few hours later.

After two long and bloody months, with more than thirty US and allied aircraft being shot down AND multiple long range Iranian missile attacks that sunk or damaged several US ships and killed over hundred servicemen, Operation "Persian Liberty" was declared "a success" and called off. Iran had lost just about its entire air force and roughly half of its anti-air defenses while its navy was completely wiped out. Despite these severe losses however, the Islamic regime was now more entrenched than ever. The few armed opposition groups on the ground which the US had supported were quickly and ruthlessly put down by the Iranian Army and Revolutionary Guard Corps. Popular grassroots support for the theocratic government reached an all time high.

Operation Latin Freedom would go slightly better overall (at least at first) though still much costlier than expected. To makes matters worse, the increasingly desperate and unhinged American President decided to go ahead with a full ground invasion of Venezuela, with the corrupt US Congress initially complaining, but ultimately capitulating. This would eventually lead to the most devastating military defeats in modern US history, but that is a story for another day.

In the aftermath of the Iran debacle, the people of Iraq (who had suffered greatly due to Iranian missile strikes during the conflict) had finally had enough of the US occupation, They'd realized that US forces would never leave willingly and decided that their Iranian neighbors would make better allies. A massive coalition of local and Iran backed militias formed and in conjunction with a large amount of the regular Iraqi military and a massive offensive was put into motion in October of 2020. Despite multiple warnings, US forces in Iraq were caught off guard by the October Offensive (known by many Americans as "Iraqi Tet") as tens of thousands of Iraqis attempted to storm US bases and the US embassy inside the "Green Zone" in Baghdad. A handful of Iraqi F-16s would join in the fray as well, bombing American facilities and hard points, though most would be shot down quickly.

Mary and her squadron mates would provide CAS (close air support) for US forces all throughout the country, and eventually the Iraqis were driven back. This came at great cost though, as several hundred American servicemen were killed and more a thousand were wounded. President Dorf had no choice but to order a complete withdrawal of all US forces from Iraq and to close the US embassy. This was a major humiliation for the United States. They had just been kicked out of the very nation that they'd spent 17 years and trillions of dollars propping up.

After returning home from Iraq, Mary (like many other veterans) had become notably jaded and cynical in regards to her country's foreign policy. She was giving serious consideration towards leaving the Air Force when Daniel Seretto was elected President. The new Commander and Chief would institute a massive shift in both domestic and foreign policy. He would also devise a special mission, code-named Operation "Redeemer," in order to "achieve equilibrium" for past US mistakes. Mary and two dozen other fighter pilots (including Laura Heidelberg) would be selected for that mission... and history would be made.
