Description ACU & Boots (Again), graphite pencil on paper, 16 x20 inches.

I swore I'd never draw a set of ACUs ever again, but somebody HAD to have one and I don't have enough business to blow off a new customer, so... There's a whole lot of little squares on those things!

I also took the opportunity to get photos of each step in the process and do a tutorial.

Thank you. My obsession with detail sometimes plays off. That's why I liked that one piece of yours; it was so simple, but effective. I have trouble drawing like that.

Nicely done, friend! Well shaded, great detail. I havent drawn them yet, But i can totally understand the frustration with all those little squares, heh.. I have a closet full of those acu's myself keep up the good work,

Had one dude in BCT who got stuck with a set of those in '98. The drill sergeants kept asking him if he was going to try and fly away.

Drawings on big surfaces let you nail down all possible details very well.
