yay i won uwu
so these are an open species!!

for s contest
i made a lil pet thing idk

-They each have unique things on their back. it can be frills, 'spikes', antenna, or a mixture.
-tails can be nubby or the length of their body
-wings are possible and bat-like
-they can be 2-4 colours. main body colours are always greyish. markings can be another shade of grey or white. extremities(which can include tail tips, feet and wings) can be any colour. if they are 4 colours, one colour MUST be white, but white is not limited to being the 4th colour
-mini, winged or not, are more common among flying creatures. since their wings are tiny they cant fly for long, so their owner needs to carry them, and since mini are so much smaller its easier for them to keep
-mouths are little v shapes. can be 1-4 v's (v, vv, vvv, or vvvv)
-inside of mouth are the same colour as extremities
-lil bean eyes
-it is possible but rare for one to have 'blush' markings on their cheeks, same colour as extremities(like a finneddyr)

some silly stuff i thought about them last night
-they have no tongue. their mouth is like a pocket of jello. to eat, they bite and move their jello-y mouth around to soften the food and move it to the front on the mouth to chew into smaller bites(very messy eaters)
after its small enough to swallow, they open a sort of pocket they have in the back of their mouth to swallow.
the food is continued to be pushed around in their body and dissolved but a thick, mucus-y substance until broken down enough to be poopied out. like birds, they only have 1 hole for waste
because of the way they eat and digest, they can eat anything, including rocks. However, not everything will give them nutrition needed to survive
to live, their diet consisted of meat, generally that of small animals like lizards or birds, and leafy, green plants or seaweed
-they're also kind of able to swim?? they just kinda blob around and sink but can fill their stomach with air to control floating and sinking

the top, left hand one is the one i will be keeping for myself so please do not copy that design. i'd appreciate if you didnt take any designs from this sheet, actually.
and, the finnedyr at the bottom is mine so dont take that either

YOU CAN PLAY AROUND WITH THESE RULES ALL YOU WANT
GIVE THEM TONGUES, MOVE THE POSITION OF THE FRILLS, WHATEVER. MY BIGGEST RULE IS THE COLOUR THING
