Y'know, I really don't mind if people use my work for a reference as long as they give credit where credit is due . Next time, please make sure to include an appropriate link in your comments, okay?
(And if you do use other peoples' art as a reference, please remember you can't use it outright; you can trace it, you can use the redraw-it-block-by-block technique, and you can have it sitting off to the side while you're drawing, but you can't actually use it verbatim without violating copyright. The deviantART admins can and will remove your picture if it violates someones' copyright, so be sure you don't do that.)

What I'm saying is that you took my drawing , resampled it, colored it, and slapped half of Misty onto it. The lines match exactly, pixel for pixel. You copied without asking, which is copyright violation. Normally, I don't mind if somebody reposts or remixes my work so long as they give credit to me, which you didn't.
If I have to explain this again, I will explain it to the deviantART administration. I am attempting to be polite about it this time; I will be less so next time.
