First pic of the year
Or, rather, first completed pic, as I have one of the kiribans sketched already ^_^ Needs more work, though.
For many days now I've been wanting to draw Nasuada from the Inheritance Cycle, so here she is. I debated whether to upload this or the unshaded version. I really like both.
The dress took a long time, I wasn't sure how I wanted to make it.
The map is not accurate XD I was too lazy to get up and get the book to check how exactly it was, so bear with me

Nasuada is my favorite character of the books. I was hoping the green dragon would hatch for her, but it did not. -_- this is nearly exactly how I pictured her clothing, and with the serious and authoritative gaze. (Although I always pictured her darker...like PITCH, shiny black.) Looks AWESOME.

I also picture her very dark, but I thought going a shade darker would be difficult to see it well (I suppose it depends on monitor resolution, too).
