May I ask you, i noticed your settings and thought that the image is too dark until i noticed there were no lights around you.... how do you cope with focusing in pure dark?

Aside from the fact that almost any shot of rails is appealing to me, this piece is exquisite with the amazing sky....very well done!! This one goes on my wish list

Between the tracks, is that a buildup of snow that's been scraped flat by passing trains? Can't quite figure out the ground, though it reflects the nighttime light very nicely.
