Even now, I still get a lot of disrespect from some people when talking about my career choice LMAO.. I honestly don't think it will ever end. People are free to think what they want, but when they bash a career choice that one practiced and studied hard for, it just shows disrespect and ignorance. And when it's like that, I don't really care what they think, cause it's like talking to a wall LMAO. Although when it's coming from someone that you feel close to, it stings OTL
I won't be updating my comics until after fanexpo, since I need to prep for the artist alley XD~ but I'll update with podcasts and fanart in the meantime ;v;!

people like you had helped me decide what I want to do. Im going to graduate from high school and I really had no other interest besides art and I want to study animation and digital arts, but its really hard. There arent good schools with animation in Mexico and I want to study in US but even my sister and my mother dont believe that I would study there.
My dad will help me, and that give me hope

I am the same, I was only interested in becoming an artist, so I set all my energy on that... although I -almost- considered going into business due to all the skepticism about my career choice.. I'm glad I didn't give in to it XDΒ

And that's a bit sad. I mean, if you imagine the world without any dreamer, what would it be
I mean there's so much cool things in arts the fact that people don't grasp that choice is so upsetting...
But I guess that's a subject you can only discuss about with people who pratice it. Otherwise, it's like explaining cooking to someone who don't like cooking I guess.

If some people did get paid to design a wallpaper, why wouldn't you pay the painting that you'll hang on it? xD
I don't get it either...
I think the fact that artists put more of their feelings on illustrations probably let the people believe that it's easier to negociate and not to pay!
