Ah... Well...This is almost the same way I draw on any other program, but there's a small intro about how to use the paintchat tools... nothing much...
It's 5AM and I'm short on patience to explain anything further, if someone asks something and I feel like replying it I'll post it here AND I WON'T ANSWER IT TWICE!
I won't go over covering how to set up a paintchat too, if you know about port forwarding, IP, or even DNS, I will be able to tell you how to do it.

I can chat just fine. but for some reason it won't let me draw anything.
I made sure that I was in a drawing room...I can't figure out what the problem is.
do you need a certain amount of ram available? or a special version of java? >.<

Eh, I don't know what happens to vista, you set up your own room? because you don't have to register to use paintchat unless it's a server somewhere in the internet, then I really don't know what's happening, when people are unable to draw on my pchat I just close it and clean the log, but that's when I'm the host.

You're after a Router? If you have some notions of java, IP, Routing, etc, then I can answer this thing...
To enter a room you just have to be linked to one, public or not.
