Wow thanks for making this!
So, the forms you can buy have different sizes, right?
And the size which you can get is based on this measurement you show here?
For example a pelt has the lengh fron eye to nose of 16cm, you need a head foam form in size of 16cm?

Eyes to nose measurements usually are [for foxes] 2'', 2 1/2, 2 3/4, and 3'' [all in inches] coyotes start at 3 3/4 but thats for them big guys, you most likely will have to draw parallel lines on the muzzle, cut the muzzle off at the base of the face, cut off how ever many cms/inches you need to to fit your yote and glue it back on <: And eyes are measured mm, which is the back of your ruler [if you have the kind I do, shows in the picture]

I have different measure tools, a ruler, a small measure tool you can pull out the sizetape, it has cm and inch! I usually use it, because it is good to work with.
I never used to cut the face on some places when I put the form into the head
Is this nessesary?
I usually get the pelt and see what size of head fits best.
Small yotes usually have heads as huge as medium sized foxes.
I have a very huge fox head form here and this one fits not on a fox, but on a brush wolf head. But I bought it at a taxidermy shop as a huge fox head.

Like I said most yote forms are too big and measured for the big guys, so in some cases you will have to cut the muzzle off and trim it down, but you also may not need to because leather stretches when wet, however if it needs to be cut then it's gotta be done v 0v

I'm not too sure about using fox forms for a coyote, not too sure if there's an anatomical difference but I'll have to see up on that o:

The problem is, I donΒ΄t get coyote forms here. But foxes and coyotes (the western yotes) are pretty similar, they both have very acute muzzles.
And yes, I usually always have to shave and cut off somethings on the nose, mouth and backhead. That is nothing new for me. I will see how the pelt is. If it had more a bold head and muzzle or small one like a jacal or fox.
On my fox Skyla I also had to shave off pretty much on the nose, because she seem to had a very small nose. I used the smallest adult fox head I could get and even this was to huge and to bold.

Have you ever tried ordering online through van dykes or McKenzie or something? O: they have yote forms.

Nope, I donΒ΄t live in the US
And importing taxidermy stuff is a torture!
When I go to import stuff, then only from private people, not from shops, because those always ship it as merchandize and not as gift, and because of that I have to pay extra fees for importing, that sucks.

Wounting will be explained in the journal, but for a basic it's re-creating lifelike features on a preserved animal skin to make it look alive again, but not exactly. <: [link]
